The Great Holiday Adventure (Part One)

Yep, more traveling.  We left Llano at dawn and drove through the lower
hill country.  Simply gorgeous terrain with the mix of fall and early winter colors, cattle grazing, sheep and goats dotting pastures, hunters in camo-clothing walking fence lines.  We arrived in Del Rio about noon with plans to cross over to Acuna, Me(..)

Something magical happens in Llano, Texas, every single day, whether it is the wafting fragrance of Cooper's smoky barbecue, the manager at Fuel taking coffee and muffins to a homeless person, the librarians reading to children or helping patrons with computers, the small town in the hill country that I now call home gives me reason to smile and be full (..)
